Property Summary
Recently renovated (in 2004), the hotel has a central location to the resort, only 600m from the Beach (Poniente) and about 300m from a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel shares a pool with its sister property (the hotel Sol y Sombra) complete with snack bar and free sun loungers and parasols. Very close to the Poniente beach and close to Benidorm’s shopping area, the Atenea offers 100 rooms spread over 5 floors. Most are outward facing and have a balcony or terrace, direct telephone, central heating/air conditioning, TV with international channels, hairdryer and optional safety deposit box. Car parking parking is also available (subject to availability and payable locally). The Atenea also has a a television room, outdoor pool with children’s section and a magnificent sun terrace complete with jacuzzis (heater in winter), and children’s play area. A daily entertainment program for adults and children alike is available during the summer months, and weekly shows.
